This short whiteboard talk from Steven Johnson outlines his findings on where good ideas come from. What environments and processes are most favourable to innovation? If we understand this, can we support better innovation? Johnson argues yes – and that good ideas are almost never flashes of insight originating with one person. Johnson says that “chance favours the connected mind.”
